Du học Mỹ năm 2023 với chương trình cao đẳng cộng đồng
Trong tất cả các chương trình du học Mỹ, có thể nói cao đẳng cộng đồng (CĐCĐ) là chương trình nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm và lựa chọn nhất từ sinh viên quốc tế khắp thế giới. Hàng năm có đến hàng chục nghìn du học sinh đến nước Mỹ để theo học chương trình CĐCĐ. Vậy, sức hút khổng lồ này đến từ đâu?
Để trả lời câu hỏi trên một cách đơn giản nhất, ta phải kể đến những ưu điểm và lợi thế “nổi bần bật” mà chương trình CĐCĐ mang lại cho sinh viên: CHI PHÍ THẤP – TỶ LỆ ĐẬU VISA CAO – CHUYỂN TIẾP ĐẠI HỌC DỄ DÀNG!
Cao đẳng cộng đồng gắn liền với “công thức chuyển tiếp 2+2”, được định nghĩa gắn gọn: 2 năm cao đẳng + 2 năm đại học. Sinh viên sẽ học 2 năm đầu ở một trường cao đẳng cộng đồng Mỹ, sau khi hoàn tất sẽ được chuyển tín chỉ vào một trường đại học Mỹ để học 2 năm cuối và lấy bằng cử nhân của trường đại học đó.
1/ Chi phí du học siêu tiết kiệm
Học phí rẻ là một ưu điểm vượt trội của chương trình cao đẳng cộng đồng. Cụ thể nếu đặt một phép so sánh, dĩ nhiên chi phí cho cả 4 năm đại học sẽ cao hơn rất nhiều so với việc chi trả cho 2 năm cao đẳng + 2 năm đại học.
Mức học phí tại các trường CĐCĐ khá ổn và phù hợp với tài chính của các gia đình Việt Nam. Như vậy, khi theo học chương trình CĐCĐ, sinh viên sẽ chỉ trả phí cao cho 2 năm cuối khi học đại học. Điều này giúp du học sinh tiết kiệm được phân nửa chi phí – ít nhất 500 triệu đồng trong 2 năm đầu học cao đẳng tại Mỹ.
Đây cũng là yếu tố để giảm thiểu chứng minh tài chính khi đi xin visa tại Đại sứ quán Mỹ.
2/ Chính sách tuyển sinh mở cửa
Với sự chất lượng và tính thực tiễn trong chương trình giảng dạy, các trường cao đẳng cộng đồng Mỹ đáp ứng rất tốt nhu cầu đào tạo và dạy nghề của địa phương. Vì thế mà hầu hết các trường CĐCĐ tại Mỹ đều nhận được sự hỗ trợ của Chính phủ. Nhờ mức học phí thấp và yêu cầu tuyển sinh đơn giản, các trường CĐCĐ đã giúp nhiều công dân Mỹ có cơ hội lấy bằng đại học.
Đối với sinh viên quốc tế, nếu các trường đại học đòi hỏi bạn phải có học lực tốt, các chứng chỉ có chuẩn hóa như SAT, TOEFL… thì các trường CĐCĐ không bắt buộc. Những sinh viên không đủ trình độ tiếng Anh sẽ được nhà trường cung cấp các khóa học nâng cao kỹ năng Anh ngữ.
Vậy nên các bạn sinh viên không đủ điều kiện đăng ký thẳng vào đại học thì chọn học các trường CĐCĐ chính là giải pháp tối ưu.
3/ Bước tiến vững chắc vào các trường đại học Mỹ
Như đã đề cập ở trên, rằng sau khi hoàn thành 2 năm học ở trường CĐCĐ, sinh viên sẽ được chuyển tiếp lên học 2 năm cuối tại một trường đại học liên kết.
Trong 2 năm đầu học ở trường CĐCĐ, sinh viên có được rất nhiều lợi ích như:
– Quy mô lớp học nhỏ từ 15 – 25 sinh viên, tăng sự tương tác với giảng viên và trao đổi bài học với bạn cùng lớp, nâng cao chất lượng học tập.
– Sinh viên quốc tế dễ dàng thích nghi với môi trường giáo dục Mỹ, có nhiều cơ hội giao tiếp để cải thiện khả năng Anh ngữ.
– Nhiều lựa chọn chuyên ngành học cho sinh viên, kiến thức chuyên ngành 2 năm đầu được giảng dạy và trang bị kỹ lưỡng.
– Cơ sở vật chất luôn được đảm bảo ở mức tốt nhất cho tất cả sinh viên.
Với những thuận lợi bước đầu này, các bạn sinh viên có thể tự tin tiến vào giảng đường đại học để hoàn thành mục tiêu lấy bằng cử nhân Mỹ của mình.
Chương trình cao đẳng cộng đồng Mỹ phù hợp với những ai?
1/ Học sinh đủ 16 tuổi – nhập học chương trình cao đẳng kép
Chương trình cao đẳng kép dành cho những học sinh đang học hoặc đã hoàn thành lớp 11 và đủ 16 tuổi. Khi đăng ký nhập học thành công, bạn sẽ đến Mỹ để học chương trình kép tại trường CĐCĐ trong 2 năm. Sau khi hoàn tất, bạn sẽ chuyển tiếp 2 năm cuối lấy bằng cử nhân ở một trường đại học Mỹ.
Ưu điểm của chương trình cao đẳng kép:
– Thời gian học 2 năm (1 năm 3 kỳ): 2 kỳ đầu hoàn thành các tín chỉ lớp 12 và 4 kỳ sau sẽ học chuyên ngành mà sinh viên đăng ký theo học.
– Sau khi hoàn thành 2 năm, sinh viên được cấp 1 chứng nhận hoàn thành lớp 12 và 1 bằng cao đẳng.
– Sinh viên được chuyển tiếp học 2 năm cuối để lấy bằng cử nhân ở trường đại học liên kết với trường CĐCĐ theo đúng chuyên ngành bạn đã học ở chương trình cao đẳng, và không phải thi đầu vào.
– Chương trình này giúp rút ngắn thời gian học là 1 năm và tiết kiệm được chi phí tới 500 triệu đồng.
2/ Học sinh đã tốt nghiệp lớp 12 – nhập học chương trình cao đẳng
Với học sinh đã hoàn thành chương trình THPT và đăng ký thành công vào một trường CĐCĐ, bạn sẽ đến Mỹ nhập học chương trình cao đẳng 2 năm. Sau đó chuyển tiếp lên 2 năm cuối tại một trường đại học.
Ưu điểm của chương trình:
– Yêu cầu đầu vào thấp. Nếu chưa đủ điều kiện Anh ngữ bạn có thể theo học khóa tiếng Anh nâng cao tại trường CĐCĐ.
– Tiết kiệm khoảng chi phí đáng kể từ 15.000 – 20.000 USD/năm. Bởi vì học cao đẳng 2 năm đầu chỉ mất 20.000 USD/năm (bao gồm cả học phí và chi phí ăn ở), còn học thẳng vào các trường đại học 4 năm bạn sẽ tốn từ 35.000 – 40.000 USD/năm.
